Asia Pacific Missions is a mission entity under the Assemblies of God World Missions (AGWM) that works in Asia and the Pacific Islands, under the direction of Jeff Hartensveld. From 1914 to the present, we have been at the forefront of planting, growing, resourcing and missionizing the local, indigenous church to see communities of Christ-followers established wherever the church is not. Hundreds of people have served with Asia Pacific Missions as missionaries over the years, many giving more than 20 years of service.
In the Asia Pacific Region today, over 365 missionary workers labor in 38 countries and territories, serving over 31,000 churches and outstations with a total worshiping population of more than six million people.
Still, over 834 million people—95% of the region’s population—is spiritually lost. We are planting the church of Jesus where Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, and animism have been spiritual strongholds for millennia. By faith, we press boldly forward, claiming a new harvest among countless people groups that have never in history heard the story of Jesus.
They have waited long enough.
