[1034] Orphanage Ministry

Help develop a ministry to abused and neglected children living in an nearby orphanage. This Ministry is in the vision casting stage. A relationship with the orphanage will need to be fostered and a lot of careful planning will need to take place in a team setting. Ministry may or may not include teaching English, organizing tutoring classes, teaching life skills, transitional ministry for youth aging out of the orphanage, organizing and hosting parties and special events.

Asia Pacific Theological Seminary trains leaders for the Asia Pacific Rim. This seminary currently has students from 22 nations. Nestled in the Cordillera Mountains the Seminary is a haven of beauty and a place for reflection and study.

We are looking for people who would be willing to help us equip the next generation of leaders for Asia Pacific by teaching them to read and write in English.

We will take anyone who is called and willing. We are especially looking for workers who are called to give a year or two to help build our team, but anyone can join us for a month, a summer, a year, or a lifetime!

The Life Center - Student Center, operating as a Business as Mission platform in a closed country in Southeast Asia, needs YOU!  Join our growing, cross cultural team as we build relationships with students from Never Reached people groups through English classes and after school programs.  The Life Center provides a safe place for over 100 at risk students to grow in health and education, while always sharing the life giving Message of Jesus. 

Opportunities include:  

• Teaching English

• Joining in skills training classes

• Planning after-school programming from art classes to basketball camps

• Traveling on Never Reached village evangelism and prayer treks

• Building relationships with the local underground church

Pacific Island nations have significant populations of forgotten people. Ethnic groups that really seem out of place to people who haven’t lived here. Did you know there more than 10,000 Thais in Auckland New Zealand? Over 100,000 Nepalis in Australia? Over 300,000 Indians in Fiji?  More than a million Chinese across Pacific Oceania? We are looking for someone to adopt one of these forgotten people groups and plant churches among them.

Take5 Thailand is a church planting initiative that enables teams to reach university students through English teaching centers. We are looking for team members with a heart for God and the lost, willing to commit to life and service together as part of a multicultural team to reach the unreached in Thailand. Ministry will focus on relational discipleship for students and others as a way to plant a church in an unreached city.
