Bandung is a trend-setter for Indonesia, with millions of people. We’re planting a church among the unreached and looking for an outgoing, adaptable, and hard-working intern to come to our beautiful tropical setting. Families here are big, friendly, and resistant to the gospel.

You must be a learner, a self-starter who doesn’t need micro-management, and willing to work with and be accountable to a team. You’ll teach English, create and teach crafts and/or life-skills, and help design a children’s program. You’ll build deep relationships with children and their parents. You can earn university internship credit if you supply paperwork from your school for us.

[1858] Tokyo Church Planting Team

We want a couple in their 20s to join a church planting team with a career missionary and a Japanese team in Tokyo, Japan. Tokyo Blessing Church is opening on Easter Sunday in 2017 and is in need of workers. This opening is for 1-2 years and is an invitation to spend yourself to plant a church amongst the 2nd largest unreached people group in the world.

Ministry could include musical opportunities, preaching opportunities, one-on-one witnessing, handing out tracts, teaching English, and general assistance to the career missionary. We are praying you will join our team and spend yourself in Japan.

[1730] ESL Teacher at Agape ICA in Taipei

Teaching conversational English as a member of the Agape International Christian Assembly (ICA) ministry team, working in partnership with Taiwan national churches. Language classes would be on beginner, intermediate and/or advanced levels. Purpose: Teaching for evangelism outreach among teenagers through adult, for Taiwanese Christian students desiring to do international mission trips, and language skill enrichment for Christian leaders/pastors. TESL certificate helpful but not required. Chi Alpha background with leadership experience helpful.

Texting while listening to K-pop on the subway, passing by huge churches, mistrusting, unconcerned with news of threat, losing friends to pain within, and desperately trying to survive competition for a future. This generation is looking for a cause and God is answering.

Chi Alpha Korea exists to reach, disciple, and mobilize students to fulfill God's call on their lives. We are reaching a generation to reach the nations. Is God calling you to serve Korean students as they become disciples who make disciples?

Chi Alpha experience with recommendation from Chi Alpha pastor is desirable but not required.

[1542] English and Outreach-based Opportunity in a Creative Access Country

Do you want to be a part of an adventure that will take the hope of the Gospel to the ends of the earth? We are looking for people who are passionate about students and reaching the unreached to join our team. You will be teaching English and help plan after-school activities for 100 students, all from impoverished backgrounds in remote villages. No experience is required for teaching English and online training is included. Learning the local language will be a part of your on-field training as this is the first step to building life-giving relationships. A two-year commitment is preferred, but one-year terms are a possibility.

[1541] Give a Year: Teach English in a Japanese Church Outreach Program

Teach English for up to a year at a Japanese Assemblies of God church as a community outreach. Japan is less than 1% Christian, and it is hard to get people to come to church. However, many will come if there are English classes with native English speakers.

Spend 4 days of orientation in the suburbs of Tokyo (training on how to teach English, basic Japanese language, Japanese culture, Japanese church life, etc.) before going to a local church to serve. Classes are usually a mix of group or private lessons for children, students, housewives, and businessmen.

Be a part of reaching and discipling university students on campuses in Japan! Chi Alpha Japan started in 1997 at the University of Tokyo and is now on over 25 campuses across Japan. In Tokyo, Chi Alpha is connected to students on seven campuses. Knowing Japanese is not required, but it is helpful to have some knowledge of Japanese and be willing to use it. Opportunities include building relationships, exciting outreaches, conversational English small groups, English and bilingual Bible studies during the week, and being involved at a Assemblies of God church on weekends. Relational and adventurous personalities will love coming to serve in Takeo Province, Cambodia. Some of the earliest Assemblies of God churches were established in this province less than 1.5 hours from the capital city of Phnom Penh. Diverse ministry opportunities include working at government elementary schools, teaching English in local churches, discipleship with fabulous young believers, and much more. If you are passionate about education and loving and discipling children, we need you at Hope School in Battambang, Cambodia. This vibrant K-12 school serves over 300 children in Cambodia’s second largest city. We believe education is foundational for long-term developmental and spiritual change in Cambodia. You can be a part of that change! Ministry could include ESL teaching, curriculum development, teacher training, and discipleship.
