Bandung, a university city, is a trend-setter for Indonesian fashions and music. It nestles in the hills of Java and boasts a wonderful climate (80°+ days, 70° nights). It has millions of people, with thousands of migrant young people on the streets or in shelters. Families are big, too. People are friendly and love to try out their English. However, they are resistant to the gospel.

You must be a learner, a self-starter who doesn’t need micro-management, and willing to work with and be accountable to a team. You’ll set up events, teach English (or at least hang out to speak English), and help design an ongoing youth program. A vital part of your task is building enduring relationships with youth and their connections. You can earn university internship credit if you supply the paperwork.

We’re planting a church among the unreached and looking for an outgoing, adaptable, and enthusiastic college campus intern to come to our beautiful tropical setting. Why not spend yourself for up to a year in a majority Muslim city? Bandung, Indonesia, is nestled in the hills of Java and boasts a wonderful climate (80°+ days, 70° nights).

Bandung is a trend-setter for Indonesian fashions and music. It has millions of people, with at least 6 major universities and dozens of colleges. Students here are friendly and love to try out their English. However, they are taught to be resistant to the gospel.

You must be a learner, a self-starter who doesn’t need micro-management, and willing to work with and be accountable to a team. You’ll teach English (or at least hang out to speak English) or life skills, and recruit students for events. The goal is to design a college program for at least one major campus. Chi Alpha interns welcome! A vital part of your task is building enduring relationships with students and faculty.

You’ll teach English, create and teach crafts and/or life-skills, and help design a children’s program. You’ll build deep relationships with children and their parents. You can earn university internship credit if you supply paperwork from your school for us.

[1858] Tokyo Church Planting Team

We want a couple in their 20s to join a church planting team with a career missionary and a Japanese team in Tokyo, Japan. Tokyo Blessing Church is opening on Easter Sunday in 2017 and is in need of workers. This opening is for 1-2 years and is an invitation to spend yourself to plant a church amongst the 2nd largest unreached people group in the world.

Ministry could include musical opportunities, preaching opportunities, one-on-one witnessing, handing out tracts, teaching English, and general assistance to the career missionary. We are praying you will join our team and spend yourself in Japan.

[1730] ESL Teacher at Agape ICA in Taipei

Teaching conversational English as a member of the Agape International Christian Assembly (ICA) ministry team, working in partnership with Taiwan national churches. Language classes would be on beginner, intermediate and/or advanced levels. Purpose: Teaching for evangelism outreach among teenagers through adult, for Taiwanese Christian students desiring to do international mission trips, and language skill enrichment for Christian leaders/pastors. TESL certificate helpful but not required. Chi Alpha background with leadership experience helpful.

[1702] Life Center Reaching Children of Unreached People

If you have a heart for children of unreached people groups plus a love for “ends of the earth” type adventure, this opportunity is for you. Come teach English and help plan after-school programming for 100 students, all from impoverished backgrounds in remote villages. Step out in faith and allow the Father to use you to open the hearts of the unreached in this closed, creative access, country.

[1637] Happy Horizons Children's Ranch

Happy Horizons Children’s Ranch is a home for 60+ children rescued from cyber sex, human trafficking, and sexual abuse in the Philippines. We also partner with One Child Matters to develop 1,600 children physically, mentally, and spiritually through child sponsorship. In addition, we also partner with Convoy Of Hope to hold daily feeding programs for over 5,000 children.

Teacher - Will serve in our campus school. Our school is all in English, though English is not the primary language for our students. We would prefer the applicant to start when our school year starts in June and stay until our school year ends in March. Teachers degree is required, or at least a 3rd year student. Also, references for how well the applicant works with children will need to be provided.

*Due to the nature of our ministry with young girls, we can not accept single males.

We live in the largest city in Thailand which is home to everything, but the gospel. We are church planting initiative working to change this. This is an opportunity to be a part of something bigger than any one person. We are a team with many different ministry sites serving children, youth, and urban poor as we partner with one of our local churches. We are a ministry team in Bangkok looking for someone who is good at media and graphics. We need some help with our podcasts, videos, and web presence. You will also be a part of normal team life and will serve with our team.

Texting while listening to K-pop on the subway, passing by huge churches, mistrusting, unconcerned with news of threat, losing friends to pain within, and desperately trying to survive competition for a future. This generation is looking for a cause and God is answering.

Chi Alpha Korea exists to reach, disciple, and mobilize students to fulfill God's call on their lives. We are reaching a generation to reach the nations. Is God calling you to serve Korean students as they become disciples who make disciples?

Chi Alpha experience with recommendation from Chi Alpha pastor is desirable but not required.
